The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and stays in our furnished apartments in Mulhouse, France and Basel, Switzerland. By confirming a reservation, guests agree to fully comply with these terms.

1. Booking Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed only after written confirmation and receipt of the required payment, either deposit or full payment depending on the agreement. All booking details, including dates and number of guests, must be accurate.

2. Payment

Payment terms are defined at the time of booking. Failure to complete payment within the agreed time may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required before check in. The deposit covers possible damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or violation of the House Rules. The deposit will be returned after inspection of the property if no issues are found.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms are specified at the time of booking. Refund eligibility depends on the notice period before arrival. No refund will be granted for early departure unless agreed in writing.

5. Check In and Check Out

Check in and check out times are provided before arrival. Late check out without prior approval may result in additional charges.

6. Use of the Property

The apartment is rented only for temporary accommodation for tourism or professional stays. Subleasing, transfer of the booking, or commercial use of the property is strictly prohibited.

7. Local Taxes

Guests are required to pay all applicable local taxes imposed by the relevant local authorities. This includes, but is not limited to, tourist taxes or city taxes required by the local administration in Mulhouse, France or Basel Stadt, Switzerland. Such taxes may be charged separately in accordance with local regulations.

8. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for:

• Respecting the property and its contents
• Complying with the House Rules
• Ensuring that all occupants and visitors follow these Terms and Conditions

Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

9. Liability
The host is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. The host is not liable for accidents within the property unless caused by proven structural defect or negligence. Guests are encouraged to have appropriate travel or liability insurance.

10. Compliance with Local Laws
Guests must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in force in Mulhouse, France and Basel, Switzerland. Any illegal activity will result in immediate termination of the stay and may lead to legal action.

11. Force Majeure
The host is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or public health measures.
